Flesh and Blood

I watched the 1985 movie Flesh and Blood on plain old cable last night. It stars Rutger Hauer. There are several scenes with full frontal female nudity. It was a bizarre movie and l would not recommend it. However, maybe one positive is that the nudity was a natural consequence of the scene, e.g., getting naked for a bath. After I finished watching, I was wondering what the movie was originally rated and how it was shown. Because of the nudity, sex and violence, I can't imagine it was shown in any mainstream theaters in the US in 1985. Does anyone remember this movie?
