Glad to hear about the PLB!

I always carry one on my naked wilderness wanderings that are usually well outside of cell coverage. I use a Garmin, which also allows me to send a limited number of text messages. Regarding naked prospecting - once upon a time I worked for a gold mining company doing exploration. That was where I had my first naked hiking experience. I was hiking around will only a backpack and a belt for my rock hammer. I didn't do that often. I usually had a field assistant.
