Perch bar at Orient Beach
Is it clothing optional?
Of course. It used to be run by Club Orient, the nude resort on Orient Beach. It is now run by Cedric, who used to work at Club O. The southern end of the beach (in front of whats left of Club O) is still clothing optional and the Perch Bar is the only place for food and drinks at that end of the beach, unless they ever rebuild the Papagayo Restaurant. That used to be a full sit down restaurant run by Club Orient where you could have lunch and dinner nude with views of Orient Bay. After dinner they had dancing 3-4 night per week. We really miss Club Orient.
We check the website occasionally and they state they will rebuild but nothing has happened due to bureaucracy. As of 2021, there has been very little done to the resort site.
We will see if the CoPro (roughly a French version of a Condominium Association) owners give an update on the 2024 Bare Necessities nude cruise. They gave updates in 2018 and 2019 but not in 2020 which wasn't a good sign. This will be our first nude cruise since then.
