Jeep Clubs

Does anyone belong to a local to you Jeep Club?

I/we just joined one and have attended one meet and greet. So far, the people in charge seem very nice and welcoming. They are having another event this Saturday and we are contemplating attending.

This club is a little further away than the club here in town. The club here in town would not suit us well at all. We're still filling out the "vibe" of this other club and hoping the members can focus on Jeeps, Jeep accessories, planning trips, planning day trail rides and sharing experiences out on the trails while overlanding. I prefer not to engage in any political discussions or have many of them displaying their political views via flags and such. The club here in town is much like that and we would prefer they kept that to themselves and out of the club.

RE:Jeep Clubs

Our meet and greet went well. We met at a shopping mall where there is an In n Out Burger restaurant. Can't go wrong with In n Out. We met some nice people but we're still checking out the vibe of the group.

We decided to attend the next meet up which is the club's 10 Birthday Bash. It was to be held at a winery. With the prediction of heavy rains for our area, they cancelled and rescheduled it for Sept. Makes sense to us and we will do our best to make that event.
