Hernia operation
I had 2 hernias a couple years ago, and scheduled an operation. I had the usual nervousness of going under the knife, and the pain of the recovery. The day of the operation, I was given the usual Johnny and six to wear. I have as hooked up to the IV, and waiting in the waiting area on the mobile bed. The Dr came to see me, as did the assisting physician (both male). About 15 minutes before they wheeled me in, a male muse came over and told me he was there to shave me for prep. I knew this was coming at some point. I was fully exposed and the shaving began. I did my best , but I was growing. I almost wanted to say sorry to the nursebut he kept doing his job and didnt say a word. Covered me up, and I tried to hid it from the other nursing staff, when he opened the curtains.
Off to the operating room.
When I was transferred onto the operating table, and all my IVs were secured. The assistant reintroduced himself, the Dr was next in, and they introduced 2 other assistants. One male and one female nurse. They told me about the drugs that I would be getting, to make me sleep. The others were strapping down my legs spread a bit. My Johnny was up around my thighs at this point as my legs were secured, obviously so I didnt move. My arms were secured alsoand thats the last thing I remember. I always wonderI had to be fully exposed during the operation, and tied down. Im sure I had some reaction. Its been almost 2 years nowI sometimes feel it, but I look much better, and dont have that burning pain anymore.
Thanks for reading.
I had hernia surgery several years ago. I had a pre-op meeting with the doctor and remember feeling a little "anxious" when he said, pull down your pants so I can see what's going on. When he saw my hairless genitals he said. good, you shaved. That makes it easier for me to see and we won't have to shave you before the procedure. I never really thought about it but, if I had a full bush (which I haven't had in years), the hernia would have been completely hidden. Similar to my experience at the dermatologist.
When I stopped wearing underwear, I wore a solid swim brief under my shorts or pants because the assistant told me to strip to my underwear.
I eventually asked the dermatologist if he would be comfortable examining a nude patient. He said it made it easier to do a complete examination but knew that it would make many people uncomfortable.
I now have my examination done nude.
Should have asked sooner.
