Thanks for the challenge to think it through - the erotic body
In meditation, we focus on our breath. Not our heads with all the inventions and delusions we're prone to, but the living, breathing, body - in the moment, present, unarguable. Zen is very focused on doing our work - digging, building, loving - in the moment, wholly and wholeheartely. My body, naked, unmodified, glorious in the air and sun, protected under the covers or in the arms of a beloved, pulls me there and keeps me there. It is not a part of me, it is not something I "have". There is no I - that way lie all sorts of puzzles. But it IS. I celebrate, I share, and I move lotsa rock.
