I will say one thing, this is the last pool I'll own or have built! hahahaThey are great to have and almost a must for a water loving nudist. As much as we love being naked in and around the pool, it's hardly ever used and expensive to run. Between electricity for the pump/filter daily operation, chems and pool service, we could go on some nice nakations! Depending on where we end up, after we sell this house, if space is available, a free-standing hot tub will be nice.I understand what you mean, but since my wife won't go to a clothing optional location, mine is the best way for me to swim and sun nude.'
That's understandable. When I read some of these comments about non-participating partners in nudism, I count my blessings. My wife, thankfully, will remind me that a smaller home, no pool or lawn maintenance, lower utilities, will give us more money to travel to nudists destinations. Can't argue with that.
When we had the pool closed in the fall, I was busy and when I got time to clean the filter for the winter, it was too cool to do it nude.I try to do all of my pool maintenance nude, and since this is a messy job, I especially want to be nude and jump in the shower as soon as I am finished.Looks like this week should be warm enough to be nude while I clean the filter.
By the way, I did clean the filter nude last week.
I have a pool guy to do the regular weekly and major stuff (and yes, he has nearly caught me in the back yard multiple times), but if the sun is out and I'm in the back yard, I'm naked in the back yard. So all that pool stuff -- skimming, sweeping, swimming -- is done as God intended. I don't grill naked nor mow naked for safety reasons, but I live textile free as much as legally possible.

Our pool guy usually does the opening and closing early in the morning so he hasn't caught me naked in the back yard.
He did come to the back door, which enters our breakfast room once to ask a question while I was eating breakfast nude.
We've had 6 pool companies and at least two service people from each company, clean our pool in the last 15 years. Some lasted longer than others and one guy lasted two months and I canned him on the spot while standing naked right in front of him.
Each and every pool company owner I spoke to was told that we are nudists. We live nude inside and out and rarely wear clothing. If they are bothered by seeing us naked, would rather not see us naked, they need to keep a specific schedule on day of the week and a couple hour time frame. We also ask that they text me at least 15 mins before entering the backyard to decrease the chances of running into us naked. They all agree in the beginning but ultimately, each and every pool service tech has run into me or both of us naked out back.
The guy I fired on the spot acted like a 10 y.o. girl when he came for the second time on a different day and saw me naked. The first time, I went inside and slipped on my sheer shorts. I came out, talked to him and he agreed to keep to the schedule or text if he was coming on a different day or time. The second time, I was working on a project and was in and out of the house and back and forth to my work shed for tools. He was off schedule by two days. I stood naked right in front of him and told him to get out of my backyard, his services were no longer needed and I was not going to pay him for the month, even though he'd already serviced the pool for two weeks. He knew he'd stepped in it and didn't argue.
In contrast, I had a pool service guy at our previous home that walked in unannounced to fix a valve on our equipment. My wife and I and our friends from WA were having breakfast on the patio, all of us completely naked. He walked in, waved and went to work. I slipped on a wrap, went over to apologize but he apologized to me instead for not announcing his arrival on an unscheduled day. His wife came to clean our pool for about 6 months. Her first visit, she said that her husband alerted her that we were nudists and that she should text before showing up early or on a different day. She then told me, "your nudity will not bother me in the slightest. Not to worry." I/we never purposely exposed ourselves, but it was great to know she was going to be okay with it if it happened.
