RE: Your favorite cartoon as a childIt varied as I got older. I grew up on Popeye, Underdog, and Looney Tunes, with Rocky and Bullwinkle a favorite. I liked Tom Terrific on Captain Kangaroo too. In the 1950's and early 60's after school TVhadlocal kids shows that featured movies and cartoons from the1930's and 40's. The cartoonsgave me my exposure to classical musicwith the dancing flowers and animals playing the instruments. I loved it. By college age, the Road Runner was a big favorite. While in college from 1968 to 1973 movies were shown on campus every Friday and Saturday night and the guys almost revolted if the cartoon was something other than the Road Runner.

RE: Your favorite cartoon as a childI always enjoyed the adventures of Road Runner and Wylie Coyote. The varied contraptions that Wylie could devise and the many ways they could fall apart are mind boggling. It was always funny to watch the anvil land perfectly on Wylie's head as he looked at the camera holding whatever sign was most appropriate. Truly hilarious.

RE: Your favorite cartoon as a childCan't think of much that is more funny than Andy Kaufman lip syncing to the Might Mouse theme song on the "Here I come to save the day." part. Andy and Mighty Mouse were gone way too soon.

RE: Your favorite cartoon as a childBugs Bunny and Road Runner were my two favorites. Looking at the guide on the TV recently I saw they're on and had time so turned it on for old times sake.

Yes, I remember it but forgot what it meant. Do you remember what it was? I loved the talking pictures on the wall.

RE: Your favorite cartoon as a childHey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat...
ROAR!!! ... No doubt about it, I gotta get another
hat! :-D ...
Rocky was so far ahead of his time... Remember Pottsylvania, where
the TV stations had commercial advertising almost all the time...
with an occasional breaks for entertainment? ...
Now you have to pay to get programming that good.

RE: Your favorite cartoon as a childRoadrunner and Wyl E Coyote "Genius"definitely. Also Marvin the Martian. It a shame that they cut out the so calledviolent parts on the ones they show these days.
