Beach security

As someone who enjoys long nude walks along the beach, I was wondering how other nudists kept their possesions safe when away from their beach towels. I tend not to use a car so can't leave items in there and although nudist beaches are generally safe, I feel anxious about leaving money and credit cards behind in my beach bag. I don't fancy wearing bulky bumbags as I like the feeling of being completely nude. Any suggestions?

I tend to not take much stuff that would be a problem if it went missing, phone and keys is about it, now with Google pay and the likes, negates the need to carry around wallets and credit cards and the like,
It depends how busy the beach is, if it's quite busy I try find a spot close-ish to some one with a lot of stuff that look like they are there for the day , so your stuff isn't kinda in the middle of nowhere, even better if you get talking to them,
If it's pretty quiet, I have just put my phone and keys in a little plastic bag and buried them in the sand under the corner of my towel,
If someone wants to nick my shorts them not too bothered about that!!! Just a legitimate excuse to stay naked and drive home nude!!!!

My vehicles have the keypad on the driver's door. I strip down to just the shorts I need to get to the beach from the parking lot and leave everything else in the car. I often do not even take a towel with me. The beach I most often use is not designated nude or clothing optional, so I tend to go near the end of the day and walk far enough past the populated area that if I was to have something with me it would most likely be safe.

Going to blacks in San diego I take a backpack and sometimes an umbrella. I take a walk the full beach about 2 miles. Many others also drop and walk or play in the water. Have not observed any problems.
Nudist seem to be more watching out for each other.

I bring my car keys, but nothing else that would matter if it were taken. Would be difficult to cross the main park road with no clothing or towel.

I take a towel and tend to cover my keys, phone and swimsuit under a folded-over corner when moving away. I've never known theft to be a problem but it doesn't hurt to reduce temptation. If I left my towel behind, I'd have to think of something else - perhaps under my swimsuit which may not be effective!

I once took my nieces to a nearby beach once and their first thought was about what snacks to take! Surprised me who's the sort who's just happy to have not forgotten the sunscreen.

When I am at a naturist resort the only things I have on are shoes and a Tilley hat. Some Tilley hats have pockets in them with enough room for a key and a credit card. If you don't mind wearing a hat while being nude these hats are great.
