Favourite nudist beach.
Are there any that aren't at the top of the list? Our actual favorite is probably Orient Beach in St. Martin, followed by Haulover Beach in Miami. Both have good crowds and food available in the nude zone. Blacks Beach in San Diego loses some points for the 300+ steps from parking down to the beach... and then back up when leaving, but it is still nice once you get there (other than no facilities of any kind). Elia Beach in Mykonos, Greece loses some points for making you leave the nude section to get food.
Those are the only nude beaches we've visited, unless you count private beaches that were reserved for nude use during our nude cruises. Then I would put Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas at the top of the list with Orient (maybe even ahead of Orient), and Paradise Beach in Ochos Rios, Jamaica at the next step down with Haulover.
We have also visited numerous nude/clothing optional beaches here in the US and try to visit at least one in each country we've visited. For us, any nude/clothing optional beach is a favorite. We, like many of you, feel that every beach should have a clothing optional section. But, if I had to choose only one, have to be Club Orient beach, Orient Beach, St. Martin, FWI. Being amongst that many, somewhat like-minded people, is hard to beat. Have to admit, it was much more fun when you could roam the entire beach nude and have food and drink at many of the bars, that are now gone.
Have to agree about Black's Beach in San Diego. It's our local clothing optional beach but we don't go anymore. That descent and ascent is killer on my wife's knees and her fear of heights. We used to visit San Onofre State Beach, Trail 6 until they began citing nudes. Apparently, you can still be nude on the Marine Base section of the beach, but we've not tried it yet.
