Where to go on the beach in Barcelona (or is that Bare-celona?)

No nude beach in Alaska (fairly obvious why), but we are headed to Barcelona in about a week. Then the northern Mediterranean, and finally in Venice for several days. Any suggestions for beaches at either end or along the way?
