Back to my No.1 location in the South West - in the rain

Another great day today hiking in nature but this time with the added experience of being naked in the rain.

I set out on what I call the No.1 track at this location, which makes its way across the top of the first hill rather than around the side (like the No.2 track). I walked in clothed as whilst there was nobody around there is in fact a house on the opposite hill. Being middle of the day most likely no-one home, but...So a few metres along the track I stripped and hiked on.

The last time I walked this track I managed to get the end where the track meets the power co's fence line. This time I did a 'Robert Frost' and took a different fork in the road.

Having taken the fork to the right I found myself walking a lengthy track that I managed to pass two markers. I believe they were 15km and 12km respectively. I stopped my walk at the 12km marker and rested for a few minutes, then turned around to return back.

The journey back was great with light rain falling and slightly cooling me down. I donned my shirt and shorts at the same spot where I disrobed before walking down the hill through the picnic area. Once in the car I removed my soggy shoes and socks, plus my shirt and shorts for the drive home.

It was a great experience today - taking in the sights , the smells of the bushland during rain fall and in the periods between showers. Almost a primal feeling of being at one with nature!
