2022 season - designated hitter
Any National league fans happy that the designated hitter is here? Even with me being a St. Louis fan and Albert Pujols getting to finish out his career in Busch stadium, because of it. It was inevitable, but I am not thrilled with the DH in the National league. I am old school and believe the pitchers should be batting,
Count me as a Phillies fan who prefers the strategy involved with having to decide when to lift the pitcher for a pinch hitter. I say this even though the Phillies are benefiting right now by using Bryce Harper as DH because of an injury to his throwing arm.
