2016 Ford Fiesta transmission problems
Hello group! A fellow member has transmission problems with his power shift. Ford refuses to fix the issue even though there has been a class action lawsuit brought up against them. Ford lost and had to pay out. Unfortunately our fellow member was not aware and did not partake. Now, he needs a new transmission as a rebuild is not possible and he cannot, nor should pay out of pocket. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help or offer solutions 2011 - 2016 Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus. Thank you
I am the one with the bad tranny... I owe 6800 on the car Blue Book Value is up 6300. I even looked at getting another used tranny from junkyard only 500 to 600 dollars but still costs 1200 to 1800 labor to put the used in to me 2400 at max is alot not knowing how long will last could be a day, a week, a year no way to know. They can't be rebuilt. What makes me the most mad is that I asked if there was any recalls on car the salesman said no. He lied he knew didn't respond to email when wrote to him saying the tranny is going out. With all I learned never buying a Ford again. I am not making anymore payments letting bank repo it I can't see taking another loan for 7000 to fix something only worth 6300 max funny 2017 of exact same car has Blue Book Value of 14,500 min to 18,000. Saddly taking bad hit for it...
