Nudism with a dog
I have a 7 month old puppy, who is intact and very interested in genitals when he sees them. He also likes to jump on people still. I was wondering if anyone has any advice to help train that out of him, so I can be ready to be nude around him more and to have other people nude around him?

Basic training should work. Dogs don't understand nudism, but smell crotches regardless. If you teach your dog not to jump, you could probably use the same techniques for directing him away from your genitals or other behaviors. Cesar Millan might put it this way: If the dog goes for your manhood, you can simply take a step back to bring the dog away from you. It sounds like a lot of work when you lay on the couch or in bed, but it will pay off. Good luck.
When the puppy jumps up on you, forcefully step on their hind paws. They will immediately stop & drop back to all fours and look wounded. Follow up with a vigorous *NO*. Another option is to take a quick step forward to force the puppy to retreat. Theyll get the idea. Good luck and be consistent.
Agree with basic training.
My dog goes to different events with me. She still takes a who are you sniff and usually obeys a request to stop. Biggest in my book is to train them to not get excited or jump up. She makes a great conversation starter.
Thanks for all the input. To be clear, I am ok with the initial sniff. I will not tolerate licking there, though.
I am required to get him neutered by 12 months under a contract, so that's not really a question. I'm just watching his behavior to determine whether I need to do it earlier.
He is a sheepadoodle, and he gets a tremendous amount of training, already. I have no intention of stopping that, but he does tend to test the waters with every new person he meets. If they do not know how to react to discourage the behavior, it's an uphill battle with each new person. I just don't want to resort to the kennel with all guest visits.
I have taken 2 beagles for professional training with excellent results. Absolutely recommend it to you. However, forcefully stepping on a dog's hind legs is not a good practice. Why cause pain to your own pet?

In your profile you say that you're finding it very difficult to get into the broader nudist community as a single man, and I think you have it easier in more progressive CO than here in the Midwest where men require female escorts to get admitted to resorts.
Maybe having a naked escort dog will solve that problem for you and somehow make you appear better than your average predatory perv with a penis and no dog. Good luck!
When the dog jumps up on you, simply bend your knee so that he comes in contact with it first. Its not a forceful blow, just surprising and a bit uncomfortable to come in contact with the knee. Say NO, firmly. It takes a little while for him to learn, but he will and without inducing any pain or social anxiety.
