How Has Nudism Changed for You?

Since most the people in this group are in their 60s, most of us have decades of nudism under our belts. Therefore, looking back to your beginnings with it, has it changed you in any way, and if so, how?

RE:How Has Nudism Changed for You?

I grew up very shy, very protected, and as a result had a very poor self image. As I startrd to practice nudity, I became more and more self assured, started to value my own worth, and as a result continued to come out of my shell, physically and mentally. I went on to a very successful career before retiring early. I give credit to my new found self assurance, which in turn came from my experiences in the nude world. I now live nude and have mant like minded friends. Life is good

Very interesting and a positive testament to nudism. Unfortunately, with the demonizing of the penis these days, far more boys are going to have self image issues.

RE:How Has Nudism Changed for You?

I grew up in northern MN and felt isolated and afraid that I wasn't as good as others. My self esteem was not good and when we had boys nude swimming class in High School I would always hold my hands in front of my genitals as I was a bit small and ashamed. I just wanted to fit in. Throughout most of my adult life I would try to hide my true self and feelings. In my late fifties I started riding a recumbent bicycle. Becaus of flies blowing into regular shorts I decided to try unpadded biking shorts, much like speedo jammers that show a bit of your manhood. At first it was hard to be seen in public places but soon became comfortable. Ever since I have gained self confidence in myself and my body. I started being nude in the house a couple years ago and found my wife was ok with it. This year I tried out Playalinda not knowing how I would react. I totally loved it and saw people and chatted with them and nakedness seemed to actually bring me out in the open with nothing to hide. Joining this website recently I have been thrilled to read of others and their experiences. I was a little leary of posting pics of myself naked but am now happy that I have nothing to hide. I really like to be nude living in Central Florida now. It is sooooo much cooler without clothes.

Nice to read a story about a large positive influence nudism has had on an individual!

RE:How Has Nudism Changed for You?
