What a year/season this has been

Virus, Pandemic, High Winds way to often, Red Tide, and now we are into the fire season. I know several of the firefighters who are avid fisherman who miss being on the water this time of year because of the seemingly endless fires. Do your part to make sure you are not the cause of a burst fire!

That being said when I did get out we were able to put some of the biggest grouper in the boat consistently in years. 28/29/30 inchers were common. Biggest yellowtail and mangrove I have ever seen went into the box. African Pompano were like shooting fish in a barrel. Cobia were elusive this season but there is still time.

Looking to the up coming ARS season and still time for Cobia, Kings, with plenty more grouper and other snapper. Wind should be laying down so now just have to maneuver around the pop up thunderstorms.

Good time of the year to be relaxing naked at sea catching some good eats.
