RE:Incremental Comfort?

While being nude is most comfortable, do you find that your comfort level increases incrementally or is it more all or nothing for you ?Mine is incremental.Wearing just shorts is far more comfortable than being fully dressed, and short shorts are slightly more comfortable than longer ones.

As a retired gent who lives the nudist lifestyle, I keep clothes wearing to only one day every two weeks when I go grocery shopping, have appointments, and run errands. When I do go out on that every two week day I wear a shirt, boxer underwear and a pair of shorts and sandals. It does not bother me being dressed, but I do appreciate getting back home and removing all my clothes. I do keep a pair of loose stretchy shorts by the door in case someone rings the bell or if I need to take out the trash.

Sounds like the only clothing you would have to wash would be one shirt, one boxers and 2 shorts every 2 weeks. Do you just combine it with sheets and towels?

The feeling that I can't wait to get them off and be nude is even stronger than when I am wearing moderate shorts.

Shortest shorts feel more annoying and confining every time I wear them. Considering either opening the side and crotch seams for more freedom or just ripping them to shreds. Anyone prefer one idea over the other?

Incremental

totally bare is best, but i do wear things as required. First thing I don if a bit of modesty is required is my 'barely there' shorts which are an elastic waist band with flaps of fabric front and back sides slit. To a passing motorist they pass for cover as I mow the front yard. . Most folks would consider themselves naked wearing them, but i feel over dressed. I will don short shorts and a tank top if a bit more modesty is required. Then longer shorts and t-shirt
I am usually the last to give up shorts in the fall and first to put them on in the spring. Winter around home I often wear only an open long sleeved shirt. I find if I keep my shoulders and top of my back warn the rest of me is comfy. Socks will go on next.

Do you sometimes wear regular short shorts without a shirt?

RE:Incremental Comfort?

I am pretty much all or nothing. If I can be naked then I will be, and I will enjoy it. If it isnt appropriate I will dress as needed and not try and minimise what I am wearing out if a desire to be closer to being naked. So depending on the weather/circumstances that can be anything from short/t shirt to fully suited and booted with coat. Going commando does nothing for me if I am dressed, it has nothing to do with naturism and dont feel it freeing. So always wear underwear if dressed, dont wear unduly short shorts etc.
I would far rather be naked, but if not so be it. I dont get any satisfaction out of manufacturing a situation so I can claim I am as naked as I can be, if I am not.

Do you ever wear just shorts and no shirt?
That is my most common summer attire when I can't be nude.

RE:Incremental Comfort?

I find the most comfortable shorts are those cheap grey cotton/polyester blend, a size or two too large and the legs chopped off shorter than they come leaving just enough of the crotch to tie front to back. they are loose and drape like a short kilt, the crotch tie keeps them from falling away too easily and revealing too much, (without that I'd have to go with a longer drape) but I still have to be careful when doing certain things with others around, like crawling under a vehicle to work on it. But I can walk around and work in the presence of the non nude compatible and look well enough covered they don't think anything of it. They feel as free as possible short of loosing them.

RE:Incremental Comfort?

I guess I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but I'll take my best shot. When I get home, the VERY first thing I do is get out of my clothes. Which from April through Oct. isn't much. I'm in SW Arizona, so my attire is a golf shirt, sport shorts and sandals. No socks. No underwear. The very last thing I do when leaving the house is dress. I hate clothes. It's hard to be in between. Unfortunately, when the house drops less than 80, I have to don socks or slippers. When I do feel chilly, I'll first sit with a light blanket. The last line of defense against cold is an oversized T. And I'm not a big fan of that. SO I guess with me, there really is no such thing as incremental comfort. I HATE CLOTHES. I've just learned to tolerate them when forced to.

RE:Incremental Comfort?

Though I'd say we are an "all" nude couple, we can't always do that. We will conform incrementally when the need arises. When we're camping at a textile campground, we wear the least amount we can get away with, unless we're camping with non nudist friends. After our daily evening walk here in our neighborhood, we come inside, change walking clothes to much less and sit outside on the porch and cool down. We can't be naked out front so we go for incremental comfort in that situation.
