Happy Christmas

The reason for the seasonal celebration was to welcome the Northern Hemisphere's start of longer days for the first five or more millennia of it's celebration.
It was hijacked by the early Christian church as part of the proselytising missionary effort, the most probable actual date for Christ's birth based on such evidence as is available being some time in September.
