We have visited both a couple of time each and your assessment is pretty accurate. Haulover is more accessible and you can rent chairs and umbrellas that are not available at Playalinda. Because it's more accessible, there is more potential for encountering creepy fellows at Haulover. Also refreshments were available at Haulover that are not at Playalinda. Both are nice beaches for a naked walk along the surf.

Blind Creek is between Haulover and Playalinda, a little closer to Playalinda than Haulover. Interestingly, it also seems Blind Creek is a mixture of the two, not as busy as Haulover, with some of the isolation (less crowded) areas of Playalinda if desired.
