RE:Gulf Coast Florida
the fin and wing are a pain to haul and need a special trailer.I keep mine a a slip
Do you have a trailer for them just in case? I used to keep a slip to make it easier to use the boat several days in a row, like weekends or when I had a few days off. But kept a trailer for storage when I knew the boat wouldn't be used for awhile. Also, for hurricane evacuation. It's an all day trip to move from my harbor to a good hurricane hole up a river or bayou. Last time I had a boat too big to trailer, I had to take off work 5 times in one hurricane season to move the boat. So I sold it and went back to trailerable boats lol! A slip is definitely handy to have if you sail every day though.
