Backyard Camp Fire

I have a chimnea in the backyard, and occasionally enjoy a night warming by the fire au natural! The feel of the radiant heat on my skin is soothing, only surpassed by my daytime backyard sunning. It warms me to the bones - and I believe provides much needed physical and mental health therapy!

And, of course, I enjoy a good wine or a mixed drink! Tonight it is Bacardi Gold & Diet Pepsi on ice!

Nice! My fire pit is a little too open to sit around nude. if you can, post a picture of your backyard.

Interesting idea, usually if it is warm enough to sit around naked in my yard and get some sun I don't need the fire going, but may have to try it some time. I have thought if I need a fire to be warm maybe I should have some clothes on but this is a good alternative.

We used to use an ol' washing machine tub, then went to a chiminea and now have had a gas fire pit for the last 13 years. I call it my $2000.00 s'more maker! ;DDD We live about 14 miles (as the crow flies) east of the coast. We get an onshore breeze almost daily from 4:30p to 8pm. It cools things down a bit in our valley and we've cranked on the fire pit and had drinks, shared a bottle of wine with each other and friends. If we're alone or with nudist friends, we're naked around the fire pit. In colder months and evenings, we have blankets to wrap ourselves in but they aren't used much after the lava rocks get red hot and glowing. It's very comfortable sitting around the fire pit naked, even on colder nights.

I still use a washing machine tub, we have two, they have been great to get going when our kids had their 21st parties but since then use one only. For looks I'm going to get something that looks good to go out to the new morning nude sunning spot, it's in the shade in the afternoon thus the fire pit. Might think about a chimenea for the other sunning spot at the back of the house. This is great, lots of good ideas.

We have a chimnea at our current house in Florida but really doesn't get much use. My wife has a potted plant sitting in the top of it. At our cabin in North Carolina (which we are moving to next month) we also have a chimnea on the deck and it gets a lot of use. We had one the other day when we were up there watching the sunset after dinner with a glass (or two) of wine. We are also planning on building a bigger fire pit down below the deck in a cleared area.

Spent some time in the yard yesterday nude, which is early as spring is really only just here. Anyway I was by the backyard fire and I have another design for it. This topic and the comments posted is good food for thought. Maybe I'm most creative when naked in my yard!!
