OBX Camping

I've only camped at Oregon Inlet and Cape Woods in Buxton. Neither are known for nudity. The only places I know of to be nude there are Pea Island and Ocracoke, neither of which are sanctioned for nude use. People have been ticketed on P.I. for indecent exposure. I haven't heard anything recent about Ocracoke though.

If you find someplace, please let me know. I'd love to spend some nude time down there.

None of the campgrounds are suitable for nudity but if youre willing to explore the beaches offer up some opportunity. Its not legal anywhere so be super vigilant. Beach driving is the best way especially if you have friends with a second vehicle.

January 1st the sp cg at Ocracoke was empty enough on the one side of our site that I was able to drink my morning coffee wearing only a blanket. I wouldn't try that in July though.

I'll be at Frisco in another month. I always have no inhibitions about leaving my tiny trailer to pee naked before going to bed or during the night if I have had too much to drink. I have camped with people who will sit in front of their fire at night naked and enjoy the heat from the fire, though the one guy I knew well had enough tattoos it looked like he had shorts on...LOL

Was this at Frisco Woods that they would sit naked around the fire? Was it in the more secluded sites among the bushes? I presume not along the water. I have always been wary of being seen naked although that is my favorite attire.
