Summer in Alaska

So far this has been a disappointing summer in Alaska, at least for this Truenudist. It started out cooler than usual and it's the worst year for mosquitoes I've seen in a long time. It's warmed up recently and I've been able to get some nude outdoor activity as long as I pick the right spot. Many of my usual places are thick with mosquitoes. I'm not fond of bug dope and there's no way I'm going to cover my body with it. I've been able to get away from them in a few places. The photo is from a recent trip to the headwaters of the Chickaloon River, part of the Matanuska River drainage in the Talkeetna Mountains. I enjoyed the day there hiking and relaxing. It was a little more overcast than I expected but warm enough to be comfortable.

RE:Summer in Alaska

I will be visiting Alaska for the first time in my life next month. I'm excited to get out of the city and get some good hiking done. I had not even considered looking for opportunities for nude hiking until I saw your post. Do you have any tips of places to go or places to avoid? I'll be in the Anchorage area.
