How hot is it?
As Robin Williams would say "It's hot - damn hot. It's so hot we can do some crotch pot cooking!"
Here in the north woods of Michigan we rarely see 90 degree (F) (mid-30's (C) days. We have now had 5 in a row, and the 10 day forecast is for 90 every day. Now when you live in an area that has 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad sledding, we really look forward to the warm and sunny weather. The good news is that I can be naked 24/7 with no problems. The bad news is that the mid day periods are just too hot to be out in the garden for long. I find myself cycling in and out of the house to cool off and re-hydrate. The other good news is that the garden is going gang busters!

I'm in MN so I think a similar situation. In "The Land of 10,000 lakes and 100,000 ponds, swamps and marshes", when the temp gets that high the humidity % is close behind. Sweating so bad even in the shade, feels like you just stepped out of a hot shower but don't smell as nice ;-( 7:00 am all windows covered in condensation and need to wear rubber boots to keep my feet dry when walking in the grass. Sure don't get much done with all of the necessary breaks :-(
It's starting to hit upper 80's here in Tennessee. But then I'm sortof in a slightly cooler place up in the hills. Hottest i've seen it here was 101. but when we lived down near Chattanooga one summer it was 108-112 every day for a week. Now that was HOT! especially for the humid SE.
