A Death in Vienna

This is the first of a six book series by Frank Tallis, a practicing clinical psychologist. If you have seen the show, "Vienna Blood", on PBS recently, that's what drew me to it. The scene is early 20th Century Vienna and the two main characters are Max Liebermann, a disciple of Sigmund Freud and detective Oskar Reinhardt. Liebermann uses his knowledge of of psychoanalysis to assist his friend, Reinhardt in solving the, seemingly, inexplicable death of of a medium whose body is found within a locked room, shot with a "bullet" that cannot be found in the corpse.
In effect, Liebermann acts as kind of an early profiler for his detective friend. I hope to continue to read the rest of the series once our library reopens after the Covid-19 pandemic is resolved,
