Nude on a Cruise
Noticed that the ship I am on has 2 adult only areas. Each is near the top of the ship and has a bar and 2 hot tubs. I am going to suggest in my after cruise evaluation that one of them should be clothing optional. Doubt it will happen. I would suspect however that with those who wanted to be nude or in a thong, plus women who wanted to be topless there would be a sizable number of people who would use it. The cruise line does not allow topless women or thongs on either gender. On a previous cruise with a lot of European and South American passengers, I saw some of each anyway. Most of the people on this cruise are from the USA or Canada and I haven't seen any yet.

What cruise line are you on? Norwegian supposedly does allow topless use and even nudity in their adult area. If you ask, they will say it is OK as long as nobody else complains. We haven't been on NCL since becoming nudists, so I can't verify the claim, but it was made by more than one person on Cruise Critic. If the ship has a water slide that overlooks the area they might change the policy.

This ship does have a waterside. At one time NCL did allow nudity in the topmost adult sundeck, but the policy changed a few years ago. They did not enforce no bare breasts or buttocks in the adult only area on my prior cruise, but I didn't see anyone fully nude.
