Bonny Doon, CA

I love Bonny Doon beach. There's a private cove to relax in. Every time I go there are nudists and often they are playing Frisbee or playing guitar or something else. It's a great spot to visit and it's only like 30 minutes from Lupin Lodge.

It's definitely my favorite nude beach in this area. Everyone is so friendly and people from all walks of life are there. I'm glad that others enjoy it as much as I do.

I used to go to Bonny Doon a lot when I was working in Palo Alto. Enjoyed how the beach changed through out the seasons - sometimes there was a sand beach, sometimes just rocks. Last time I was there however I had a bad experience with some shady guys. Haven't been back since then.

I'm really surprised to hear that and sorry that you experienced it there. Usually the beach is pretty well self-policed such that shady characters are run off. I've only seen one instance of someone misbehaving and they were quickly asked to leave by several of the people there. I found that to be one of the most endearing parts of the culture at Bonny Doon: it's a community and the patrons ensure that it's a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

I really liked your positive responses Enjoying Nakedness concerning Bonnie Doon. Have not been there, but hoping to get there this summer while visiting my Husband's sister in Santa Cruz. Look forward to seeing you at Laguna del Sol too. Healthymale
