I have an older conversion van, with relatively dark windows, in the drivers, and passengers side, but not so in the windows on the side sides. I have driven to Miami and back to Haulover Beach, and back to N.C., and for the most part, I don't think I have been noticed, but I have been paced a time or two by some truckers, who have given me a thumbs up, or a toot of their horn. It is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE, to drive naked, when you can, and feel safe doing it, and I think ALL nudists should try it at least once...start at night, and just keep something to cover up with if you need to, and DON'T speed, or drive erratically , and you'll never have any problems. I have even had a few drivers who have seen me, give me a thumbs up, or a lady, mostly older one, a smile or two. HAVE FUN, and ENJOY the experience....and try it with a willing friend too!
I have driven nude on Florida highways many times, most recently 500 miles last February. Daytime, in a sedan. Interstates and rural 2 lane. I pretty much only cover now for buses. I use good judgement I think--not through neighborhoods, city streets, etc and I have something handy to cover with if needed.
. It is comfortable and energizing. I expect I'll be doing some nude drives in SE Florida when I'm there in a few weeks.
I don't think nude driving is acceptable anywhere so don't get caught. I have tinted windows in my pickup but I still use some vinyl cling sheets in a medium tint to add an extra shielding. Good luck and have a nice drive:
I asked a retired sheriff at the nudist resort about that and he said technically it is not against the law. His wife piped in and said: but it is against the law to drive barefoot. Go Figure.
When I go down to Cypress Cove for one of my weekends I'll donald duck it (don't like the set belt strap on my bare chest) and keep my gym shorts nearby in case I need to slip them on or lay the over my lap for when semis or school/charter buses go by. AS for other vehicles, have you ever been able to see someones lower body while driving? If you can't see them , they probably can't see you.

I have heard elsewhere that it's not illegal to drive barefoot in any state. It is way safer than driving in many types of sandals and other shoes. I'll investigate further.
I prefer to drive completely bare. I have a fuzzy cover for my shoulder seat belt which works great. Hope you enjoy your drive.

Let's Debunk Three Myths About Seemingly Illegal Things You Can Do While Driving
it links out to Findlaw.com where they say it isn't illegal!
As for window tinting in my home state, Ohio... "The Ohio rules for car windows are simple: 50 percent visible light transmission, or VLT, on the two front windows; 70 percent on the windshield. Backseat and rear-windows can be darker. Driving a car with illegal tint is a misdemeanor moving violation." I'd check the laws state by state.
