Haha, for a friends who knows, I use taking my socks off as a euphemism for getting naked, though during this season, it is usually all I wear. So I get home at the end of the day and take my clothes off and put my socks on and tell my friends, "Ah, my socks are finally off!" when really I just put them on.
I use getting changed the same way.
My wife has teased me about this saying getting changed implies putting something on in addition to taking clothes off.
My repl is I am changing from clothed to nude.
To answer your question about having something that reminds me of a particular time when I was nude the answer is yes.
I have a few pair of very light weight running shorts.
When I wear them it reminds me of a pair I no longer have.
I was participating in my sixth WNBR in 2015.
I had to park about mile away from the meet up location so had to wear my running shorts for the ride there.
Naturally I took the shorts off as soon as I got there and stored them on my bike.
I than proceeded to pass out signs to riders prior to the start of the ride for them to put on their bikes.
Unknown to me at the time someone stole my shorts from my bike.
It was not until after the ride when I went to put them on for the ride back to my car that I found them gone.
Even though I had just spent many hours riding through Los Angeles nude, that short ride back to my car by myself made me feel more nude then during the ride.
I must add though, that by the time I got back to the car, I was actually glad this had happened.
I was seen be several passing cars with no negative reactions. This gave me the confidence to stay nude when I got back to the car, even though I had another pair of shorts in the car.
I took my time putting my bike carrier and bike on the car while still nude. More cars passed while I was doing this. A couple of them slowed and gave me a strange look but I simply continued on as though this was something I did all the time and they continued on there way with nothing actually said.
