Is there something you like to collect?
hahahaha... can't collect money because I'm too busy spending it on things I collect!
I was a firefighter for 32 years and collect memorabilia. Small replicas of fire engines I worked on, equipment I used, helmets I wore...
I also collect small die cast cars of vehicles I've/we've owned since my first car! To tell the truth... we have way, way, way too many nick knacks and it probably drives our cleaning lady crazy! ;D
Where do I start to list my collections? Over the years ( 59 of them and counting) various categories of items have been on my radar. Ones that are no longer active include: whales and light houses and glassware. Still have the collections but not actively adding to them.
Still somewhat active one include Christmas Trees. from 1/2" to over 8ft the count is north of 2200. No that is not a typo. Been a few years since all have been put on display late November to early Jan. Basically took the year off last year but do plan to do a big display this year. I am very selective adding new trees. I go for the truly unique or ones found while traveling that reflect where they are found. I call it my Indoor Christmas Tree Forest.
Books , avid reader , and so always on the lookout for the next good read. Not quite as many books as trees, but they do fill 2 1/2 walls of my den / library. Plus other shelves around the house including the shelves by my bed of " to be read" ones. Another set in the living room are books with Nude or Naked in the title or are about nudism. Quite a variety of genre. But one of the most prevalent is travel writing. Books by or about people who have hiked, biked, sailed, or somehow explored parts of the world.
Which leads to my most passionate thing I collect. Stamps in my passport. Always planning my next escape to find a new corner of the world yet untrod by me. Most recent foot steps were over the radioactive ground surrounding Chernobyl in Ukraine. My home has been described as a " museum of travel" since everywhere you look are pics or trinkets from lands roamed.
I like to think I collect friends too while traveling or hosting travelers and collect nude experiences like hot air ballooning and kayaking.
After reading some of the responses... I guess I/ we too collect;
Refrigerator magnets of places we've visited and references to our nudist lifestyle
Golf balls of courses we've played and places we've visited
Collectible pins; Disney, fire Dept., Military... even some nudies!
Lighthouse replicas we've visited; large and miniatures
Nude art
I told you we had too many nick knacks! :DDD
When we die our kids are gonna hate us for having to deal with all this stuff! Except our youngest grandson. He can't wait to get his hands on my Fire Dept. memorabilia ;DDD

My mom collected stuff, some fun like Santas , but other stuff that would have been better tossed instead of saved. 1993 tax returns anyone? So when it came time to clean out her house, us kids had our hands full. A big garage sale and many trips to Goodwill and Salvation Army. But then I look at my now tendencies to hold on to things and decided that someday my nieces and nephews will be glad i live rural and they can just start a bonfire with the crap i have accumulated.
I'm surrounded by Yorkshiremen who's hobby is to collect money. I spend mine on nude holidays (several each year) from which I collect photos.
I did collect antiques. I have a grand father clock and a table , both over 200 years old. Also many other antiques.
I also collect prints and statuettes - mostly nudes. I even have one by Rolf Harris.
And I collect junk - well bits that might come in handy to repair something. If I see a skip I'm likely to take something out of it. Well I do live in Yorkshire!
I use the money I earn to buy the things I collect. LOL My collections are eclectic. I collect books that revolve around my hobby doing genealogy and books on the Civil War. I have a HUGE library of local high school yearbooks.
I collect pottery and ceramics. I collect Roseville and Royal Haeger. Plus I have some locally made pieces.
Also I collect Fenton Art Glass and Satsuma.
