Driving naked up the M6

Had to collect a car from Birmingham today. Got the train from Preston, and obviously drove back. Decided to do some of the motorway section naked. Stripped off at Hilton park services, redressed at charnock Richard services, with a short dressed interlude at Keele. Got stuck in traffic at one point, and I think a van driver saw me because as I was overtaking him, he sped up to keep pace. All in all an enjoyable journey.

Probably not - that sort of speeding up behaviour seems to endemic with van drivers. I expect you noticed it because your nakedness kept you super-alert.

I regularly drive naked up and down the A1(M) between North Yorkshire and Essex. It is often congested with slow moving traffic. Van and lorry drivers get a good view down into our cars (as do bus/coach passengers), especially while you are overtaking them. So it is more than likely that the van driver did see you in all your naked glory.

I do the same journey as Olly (the other way round). Often get vans, pickups, etc slowing alongside me - especially on the Doncaster bypass - even taking pictures!
