So the Pro Bowl just ended - it's officially the off-season
I'll start... On offense the Bills need to get someone to take attention away from #1 receiver Lee Evans. They drafted James Hardy last year but the light is definitely slow to come on with that guy. Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson are a very potent RB tandem. A pass-catching TE would be welcome, and a Center to replace Melvin Fowler.
On D, we need to pressure the passer. Aaron Schobel was injured in week 5 and didn't play the rest of the year. OLB Keith Ellison (who took over for injured Angelo Crowell) is just too small to be effective in pass rush or run D. Chris Kelsay was semi-effective as the opposite side DE from Schobel, but after he went out Kelsay disappeared. The secondary is solid, and I like Paul Posluszny and Kawika Mitchell as the other 2 LBs. Marcus Stroud did well in the middle but had little help.
Special Teams ranked #1 in the league again.
So DE, OLB, C, TE, WR, DT are the areas of need. Will Ralph Wilson (newly elected to the HOF) open the wallet? Doubtful...
