RE:Great Lakes

Usually it is short.... This summer has been marvelous as warm weather came in June. I am making the most of it and wish it stayed longer.

We look foward to sailing the warmer water of the Great Lakes in coming years. As much as I like the beauty of the Atlantic Coast I am wanting to sail in warmer weather tahn the coast and jumping in warmer water more and more ;)

My partner and I have a home on Georgian Bay in Lake Huron. We have enjoyed getting naked out on the water in past years and cant wait for the warmer weather to arrive to begin another season of nude boating (and nude kayaking in our area as well). Have seen and run into many people nude on their boats over the years. Nothing better than naked boating for sure!

Boating in the upper Great Lakes has pretty much come to an end for the season. Our best trip was South Manitou Island where I was naked 95% of the time. We had some calm days and anchored the boat just off the beach on the west side by the bluffs. 2 -3 miles of beach and naked as I the day I was born. We saw one boat that they were swimming naked off the back when we anchored in the bay for the night. I wanted to go over and talk, but they pulled out before I got a chance.

Another of our favorites is on the little sand beach on the east side of Round Island, just south of Mackinac Island. It can get busy at times with textile boaters, but it is often quiet enough so I can get a lot of naked time there too. It is fun to paddle board naked 1 1/2 miles from Mackinac Island and know they are too far away to see you.... although I have been caught a couple times by kayakers that paddle close to the shore. I get back in the boat and no one has complained.
