I wanted to see if the photo mod would disapprove the photos I uploaded but approved recent photos of a member in very similar positions.
As a mod of a few other groups I try to apply the test of how relevant it is to the group's theme. They are often split second decisions and some inconsistences might occur. I guess in the case of this group it hinges on how confident the lady is in her nudity. I've seen many ladies sat in similar positions on nude beaches - relaxed and not caring particularly about what they look like. That is true confidence. Maybe it takes even more confidence when a camera is pointing at her.
However the TN website mods may come along and delete them later. That has happened in the past. Maybe that's why the group called Balls rarely features close-ups of that particular body part. It does show men in a similar position.
I, too, Mod many groups with my good friend Rockdad. We come across lots of members of TN that would like to join our groups but won't allow those, mostly men, that have profile pics of nothing showing but their genital area, their torso, their butt or no profile pic at all. I'm a guy. I know how I sit on occasion and I don't sit like some of these guys do unless I'm joking with my wife about sexual activity. My wife is no different and sits certain ways, around the house, that she probably wouldn't sit at a club or resort. The reason she can sit that way at home is that she isn't being judged by the way she's sitting. There's this idea that if a woman sits with her legs open at all, she's inviting sexual activity. That's just BS.
Guys, some guys, sit certain ways to get attention and get comments on their penis and balls. I don't get that. There is a difference in how a guy sits for comfort and how he sits to display himself for admiration and comment. I look over every potential member of my groups to see what they are here for and many, many guys have pics in their profile gallery of themselves spread eagle to get the sexual comments that have been posted. Luckily, my memory has shrunk as much as my penis and I remember these guys and I never allow them to join my groups.
My purpose for posting so many pics of confident nudists is to get some sort of activity going in my groups. It's sad that it has to be pictures but at least there is discussion and communication going on. If I hadn't posted those two pics and posted the comment about them, this discussion probably would not have happened.
I removed them a couple days ago. It was more a test to see if the Photo Mod was being consistent with what's posted here and that there weren't photo rules for some and not for others. Not sure if the Photo Mod is being more lax or more consistent. I'd like to think it's being more consistent but at any rate, the photos being posted by some are clearly in violation of the photo policies and that's hypocritical in my book. ;D
Andy & Di, thank you for all the time you put into this and other groups. I think your judgement is pretty good, if people want to pose in quite sexual ways there are probably other places they can do that. SBN.
SBN,
Thanks for the words! When I find pics that I post here and in all my groups, I think about the poses, the context, the less professional types of photos and wonder if I could take a picture like that with my 35mm SLR or DSLR cameras. With regards to poses; my wife has been a nudist almost as long as I have. I see her naked everyday and see her naked in countless poses doing everyday things. Many of these poses I see in these photos I post are the same poses I've seen my nudist wife in at home, at our club, at other clubs and resorts, at beaches and at our nudist friend's homes. I've seen our male and female nudist friends in all of these poses and we've never broken into a full on orgy because of the context of the pose.
One more thing; I do, do most of the posting. I tend to post mostly female pics because the pics I find on Twitter or the internet, the men usually have erections. I won't get into a discussion about whether or not an erection is natural or not and whether it means it's sexually induced or a natural occurrence void of sexual thought. When I find a photo of a male in a pose that depicts everyday nudism and is something I feel will add to our group, I'll post it. But if someone gets upset because I only post female pictures, I have one thing to say; put up or shut up. Submit all the photos you want. I will determine if they follow the rules and guidelines. If they don't, I'll let you know why and my suggestion is that you keep trying til you get an idea of what I'm looking for! ;DD
Andy, I like the way you get ideas for your poses, watching normal every day things is something we should all do more of. Fake poses, awkward stances etc. don't look natural but some may consider them "awesome". Happy with your judgement on the male photo's & poses, there does seem to be an unnatural number of erections in many of the photo's posted here as well as what is on the net. Well done again, Steve.
When I see a picture that I think about posting, I think to myself; have I seen Di or our nudist friends in his pose? When you become close friends with other nudists and you're friends for a long, long time, the comfort level becomes so natural that you act naturally. In the beginning of our friendships, all the ladies, especially, were conscientious of their poses as they sat or lay out in the sun. As we became closer and closer, the ladies all became much more comfortable and just sat, laid, went about everyday life as they would at home and alone or with their spouse. These are the poses I see my wife and our friends in every time we visit and vacation together. It's natural and normal, as it should be.
I've got nothing against posting male pictures but it is difficult to find photos of guys in similar positions with an erection or their hands on their penis in some sexual way. There are some like that of women but because, in my opinion, we view the nude female form as something more beautiful to admire, I see many, many more nude female photos that are worthy of posting.
