Everyone have their Rigs ready for the 2019 season?
I just pulled ours out of storage yesterday and took it home. Normally we would have had everything tweaked and loaded but the forever winter presses on into last week. 1st thing ole Rock noticed was he didn't prop the fridge and freezer doors open the idiot. Yes I know better as this isn't the first time I missed that wee lil detail and now get to harvest that nice crop of mold out of it. We always clean the thing spotless before we put it in winter storage to make things quicker when we break it out but that didn't get done last year in a time crunch. Something we have always enjoyed is getting it ready to go together.
Our "rig" floats but it has all the same joys and tasks as a land rig. Yep, left the fridge closed once but never again. I spent the day yesterday cleaning the heads and gallery. Gotta make all fun and not work for the "Admiral."
My new rig was just delivered the other day! It's still in the box on the garage floor. Annie says I need to practice setting it up before we go to Cypress. She has no faith in me! :-)Sleeps 11, and its just the two of us. We wanted one with a screened porch. We don't plan on being in it much though, too much other stuff to do rather than fooling around in a tent!
That's quite a rig. Mine's a 2 person pup and it's been ready to go. Just need to get the time to go.

I'd love to have one of those large tents for tent camping but... with all the stuff I'd want to make tent camping more comfortable, I don't think you'd consider it tent camping! :DDDDDD
Do they make portable A/C units! I'd for sure want a small generator! :DDDDD
Do they make portable A/C units! I'd for sure want a small generator! :DDDDDPuts me in mind of a story past employee recounted on a camp ground experience. First night a site nearby was running a generator all night and seemed to annoy many nearby sites . Next night he said it was quiet as someone beat that generator up bad with something it would never run again.
Similar story; We dry camp each year out in Death Valley. Where we camp is an ol' silver mining town that is almost all but gone except for a small outpost that used to be the general store. It's on BLM land and the caretaker collects 2 or 3 dollars a night for camping in the area adjacent to the outpost. We camp about a 1/4 mile away and he collects nothing from us but we always give him a few bucks each and he's very appreciative.
We hit it right, most of the time, where there is no moon during our stay. The sky is truly amazing without the light pollution. Most times is just our campfire and when you walk away from the fire, the sky is filled with 100's of thousands of stars that are visible from our spot. One guy rented this behemoth motorhome with 3 slides. He ran his generator all day and most of the night. If that wasn't bad enough, we had 3 15,000 candle power flood lights lighting up the desert and his area and he wasn't even outside!
We finally had enough and told him, "either turn off the generator, turn off the flood lights, turn off most of the lights in the motorhome or close all the blinds... or pack up and go home!" He took it well and did all we asked but leave. He's never done that again! :DDD
Went out with a friend. First test this season. Oh did I forget stuff. But the propane fire pit worked great. No fire wood needed. Tent went up fast and easy. Oh so nice to camp naked. Thinking of checking a spot for camping soon. Hope the fires have not burned there. Maybe I can get some nude pics ?
We are taking delivery on our new TT on July 8 in Pendleton Oregon. We are driving from ne PA leaving the last week of June. We going to noodle around Oregon for a while and plan on staying a few days at The Willamettans Nudist Club. Hopefully we'll find a remote place to boondock and get some nude time out in the backcountry. Then we head up to Glacier NP then down through the Badlands and Mt Rushmore before heading east back home. We'll stay at whichever nudist clubs are within reasonable distance to our route. This is our first RV and we are looking forward to many happy nude travels with it.
I miss going out in our motorhome. It certainly sits more than gets used. I'll go and get it soon and start a new roof project. I need to clean the roof really well and once it dries completely, I'll apply a new Flex Seal roof and use two coats. Worse part of that whole project will be that I'll be doing it out on the curb in front of the house and have at least be in shorts. It would be a much better and fun project if I could be naked! ;D
Not sure exactly when our next RV trip will be except that we'll for certain RV/camp at our club a few times this summer. ;-)
