My Tomatoes

Each Year I grow 3-4 tomato plants for my Bacon, Nasturtium & Tomato sandwiches.

Sounds great, Bill, and one thing I also look forward to as Summer approaches. A wonderful treat--vine ripened tomatoes hand picked and still warm from being in the sun!

In the South a favorite treat is the tomato sandwich. Thick sliced of homegrown tomatoes on slices of homemade white bread slathered with mayonnaise (Dukes is the brand of choice for many natives) with a little salt and pepper.

Also popular in Southern NJ, which is actually below the Mason-Dixon Line.
