It can mean thousands of dollars. If a small town physician is found to be a nudist, his practice may well dry up and he run out of town. There are all kinds of being descrete. There is keeping ones mouth shut in an unsavory political conversation. There is "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything". They are all undesireable in some ways but necessary to comfortable living.
Some naturists enjoy the nudity but can't afford to flaunt it publically. Let us not condem them for their caution. Let us encourage them for going as far as they can iin THEIR situation. Not all naturists are activists. We HAVE heard of the silent majority...Let us live with the silent naturists.

I agree too. It is a dificult decision and it's yours (and only yours) to make, without any critisism. By the way, have you noticed Groups for "Exibitionists" and people who like to be nude in public etc in which quite a few members make the same decision.
It would mean alot of work, and the admin staff would have to be increased; but I would be in favour of relaunching the certified programme making it mandatory. Also having the clothed photo locked into the profile by admin as and ID check. At the moment we have no proof that the person who is depicted in the gallery is the same person that got the cert. Although that is an unlikely scenario.
In a not unrelated situation, have you noticed how many fake profiles there are on here? I think that all pictures submitted should be subject to the site whereby they can be checked to see if they turn up anywhere else.
That would be an enormous admin task. There are also some TrueNudist couples who are each here as seperate identities and have pictures of each other. Others have thier own pictures of their friends. Is that fake? I agree it can be a bit misleading if theProfile picture is of someone else, but it does not take long to check it against the text or the other pictures. So, what's the hasstle? I say Live and let live.
