How long can you go without internet?
I remember a time when smartphones did not excist or owning a computer was rare. When most things weren't send by email but delivered by the postman. When, if you want to kept yourself busy you had to read something (get lost in a good book, pick up a magazine), watch TV, go outside, actually talk to people, and so on and so on... (nobody dares say I'm getting old! :-PP )
These days internet and social media is such a big part of our lives.
How long can you go without checking your smartphone, go sit behind your computer/laptop and checking things online? Hours? Days? Weeks?
What would you do if you no longer have internet connection for a long time? Would that affect your or do you just not care?
Hardly ever get on a pc but I do get on the Internet with my phone. Other than checking to see what's new on TN I don't get on it very often. I could definitely do with out it myself but now if you were to ask my wife.........by as well put her 6 feet under

Depends why it wasn't there. If something was broken and it just stopped working, I'd probably be quite annoyed and desperate to get it back. But if I decided to go somewhere for a holiday and I knew there wasn't going to be any internet I'm sure I would manage. I think part of it is that it suddenly stops working, there will always be something that I was just about to do that needs the internet. To be honest, I probably need to stop looking at social media so often. I need to have some discipline, but it's easier to be disciplined and avoid the temptation if you don't have the option!
Do you remember the old days when you went away on holiday for a couple of weeks and you had to ask people what had happened while you were gone because you hadn't seen the news? It's been a while since that happened!
If the internet just one day didn't exist, just disappeared... then forever. We both grew up without any of it, so it's not the only way we know, kind've be a blessing to be honest.
Now if everything is normal and just how long can I stay away, depends on what we're up to. If we're on vacation, a true vacation, away from it all then actually weeks, I can easily move on it from it but if I'm just hanging at home, I will almost certainly venture on to it daily.
