Longest time away from clothing in a textile environment.

Thee has been a lot of discussion here about longest distance away from clothes and longest time naked but none about how long we spent away from any clothing and how long it would take to return to retrieve them.
I think my best would be about three hours on a naked cycle ride where, although I was never more than a mile from the apartment where we were staying and it would have only taken less than twenty minutes to return to my clothing, I spent a lot of time exploring and taking pictures and video footage.
I have certainly been away from clothing for longer than that on walks like this one but in that case most of the time I was within an approved naturist area so I don't think that should count.

Not sure why I never thought about this before but there was one time when I was away from any covering for over five hours and several miles. The thing is, at the time I did not even know I was doing it.

It was the 2014 World Naked Bike Ride in Los Angeles.
There was a last minute change in the staging area and I wound up parking a few blocks away and riding my bike the rest of the way wearing just a pair of shear running shorts which I removed and put in the bike pouch attached to the handlebars.
Since 2012 I have made signs that riders can attached to there bikes and I go around and hand them out to anyone who wants one and this year was no different.
I do not recall exactly but I believe that years ride was well over 20 miles and lasted at least 5 hours due to the many rest stops we take and some road construction that forced a change in the original planned route.

The reason I can say I did this without any possibility of covering up is because apparently while I was handing our the signs before the ride someone stole the shorts from my bike.
When the ride was over and I went to put on the shorts for the ride back to the car, that is when I found they were no longer there.
Naturally (pun intended) I had to ride nude back to the car.
At first it felt a little strange to be all alone riding nude on public streets with cars going by but by the time I got back to the car I was comfortable enough that even though I had cloths in the car I stayed nude as I put the bike carrier on the back of the car and then secured my bike to it. A few cars slowed as they passed but no one stopped or said anything.

Even though this was the fifth WNBR I had participated in, I think it was this experience that really helped me overcome any small reservations I had about being nude in public, even if I was the only one nude.

I have attached a picture that was taken by a photographer covering the ride that was posted on there on line magazine web site.
