Parents and nudism
I posted this in the newbie section, but I'll post it here too. I educated myself about nudism and all of it's fasetts. I read WikiHow posts on how to sleep naked, and do it very often now. I searched for forums discussing it in a good light and recently ran across this forum. I have been interested and pursuing this now for about 5 years. I would like to know how to approach the subject of being more nude in the house where I live with my conservative parents. I'm conservative too, but I can't imagine what they would say if I tried to bring up this topic. Or, gasp, if I was to just start being nude around them. There is just me, the youngest son of six kids, I'm 22, at home now, and my mom and dad. I want to know how to approach this topic and come away with the best outcome.
Because I'm tired now of just sleeping nude and would like to be able to, if I wanted, to sit in my room or on the couch where they are, and not 1 but If I did that now, they would be pretty startled and tekl me to put clothes on. Please give advice.
At the age of 22, you are well past the age that you should already be making your own way in this world and have your own place to live by now. Then you can be naked there as much as you desire when you are home. I was out on my own at the age of 18, 4 years younger than you are now.

If someone attends college full time, they are just entering the job market at 22 and are likely to live home for a while. Either way, as long as someone is living home, he or she should follow the parents preferences.

I usually sit around in whatever I am wearing that day. In winter, usually jeans or sweat pants and a t-shirt, because I will wear a jacket when I go outside. My body is claustrophobic when it comes to clothing, so I try to usually be barefoot, short sleeves and shorts. I could try sitting around without a shirt, I might try that. This morning I was getting dressed in my room with the door open and my father walked by when I was changing and just said hey, so not really sure about that. I never close my door when changing.

Definitely worth a try.

You could try small steps like walking back to your room from the shower with towel in hand . Just say your trying to cool off. But realize you are in their house so be careful to push. You could say you saw some neighbors down the street in their living room naked and if it goes well ask them if they did when they were young.
