If you had unlimited money
If you had a huge sum of money stashed away, say you won the lottery, Would you be willing to come out public about your life as a nudist and challenge the law legally, Would you stand up and try to change the law to make it acceptable? I was thinking if I didn't need a job or to work what would I do? I have came to the conclusion I would DO IT, I would fight
T&D
Without hesitation I would do it!
Most of us with limited funds won't take on a law suit, even if it's justified, because many we are fighting have those unlimited funds and multiple lawyers. Lawyers drag a lawsuit out as long as they can to get those with limited funds to drop everything before they lose everything before you go to trial or come to an agreement. Many of those that have unlimited funds never seen the court room or the conference room where an agreement is made, whereas those of us that have unlimited funds have to stay continually active in the proceedings and that costs us money as well.
Unlimited funds; I'd fight for my rights to be naked and be quite open about it!
I'd certainly do what I could, i.e. give back (pay it forward) to causes and fights that support social nudity - most specifically, the lands, resorts, and venues that are nudist. Many resorts and lands that I frequent, fight to remain operating and legal for us to enjoy. I would also like to spend some of these "unlimited funds" to help evangelize and create the lifestyle in the positive choice that it has been for many of us. I think the fight/cause is quite important, particularly for future generations - but I believe a piece of that is education. I certainly wouldn't be spending it on clothes! ;-)
Whenever I slide into a reverie about what I would do with an insane amount of money I ask myself "well, what am I doing with the money I have now?". I belong to The Naturist Society so I would give more to the Naturist Action Committee. I support nudist venues now, so would probably do more of that more generously. I have created a nice little nude friendly home space and would definitely expand on that for friends and me.. "Challenge the law?" What law, where? Statutes in National Parks, creating more CO spaces on public lands, yes. Tackling blue laws in the land of the Waltons and Huckabees? Probably not.
When I look at where my donations and my volunteer efforts go now I suspect that the proportion would remain about the same. Lots of work to do on social justice. The rights of the nudist fits in there somewhere.
Id be content to live in a rural area with some decent acreage and privacy. Then I wouldnt worry about spending money trying to change the minds of others. I cant step out of the house naked where I live now. If I go to a resort, I have more than a two hour drive.
