Coping with the New Semester
After being comfortably nude for 90% of this summer, I am not looking forward to fall semester opening next Monday. I teach at college level, so this means meeting the dress code demand of "casual but professional" on my teaching days. Thankfully, those are only 3 days per week.
My plan is to strip to bare skin as soon as I get home each day, spend the evening hours comfortably naked (and sleeping the same way!) until reuired to dress again the next morning. I figure I can run my weekly errands in a few hours on my days off and stay nude the rest of the time. I am only "required" to be social away from home for Sunday afternoons twice a month.
As soon as I replace my vehicle, I hope to spend more nude social time at the regional nude swims on Friday evenings...
How do the rest of you cope?
When I taught at university I had a similar routine, except my appointment was 12 months so I never had to get out of the rythm. In warm weather I would get away to the Indiana Dunes for nude time a few afternoons each week, a stroll or jog, swim and read. And watch for the occasional ranger. In winter I used sauna and steam nude after workouts. Nude at home was the norm. Have a good semester.
Ahh five days a week of putting on the "big boy pants" and the button down shirt. It is even worse when the job requires travel. Sometimes I really have to stop myself at airport security with only taking the shoes and belt off.
At least I have the goal in mind of getting to the hotel room. The key is in the door and the clothes start coming off.
It is usually something non-dress code that is comfortable and light to go get a meal.

While we were both working, me at the fire house and Di at a community college, we made the best of it. I could be nude at work, at times, because of my 24 hr shifts. Di, in the beginning of her career, wore pantyhose without panties and at the end of the day that was the first thing to come off in the car for the drive home. She rarely made it past the laundry room before stripping and beginning to destress from the day. If she did make it to the bedroom and closet, she'd emerge naked and plop down on the couch and sigh "finally!"
We both coped with having to wear clothes for work by always making plans for one day out of the weekend to either stay home and naked all day, a day at our nude beach or a day at a nudist resort in Palm Springs. It helped with us having to wear clothes the next week. It was easier for me. While Di was working everyday, Mon-Fri, I was working 2-4 days a week, Mon-Sun. If I worked extra shifts for overtime or was on a big fire and gone several days, I had to be clothed all that time but I was working most of the time and didn't have lots of time to think about how much I'd rather be naked! :DDD
Use your time at home to be naked as much as you can. I've often said that living naked is the one of the toughest things for nudists because when we're so used to living without clothing and we have to put on clothes for long periods of time, it adds to the stress we already have to face in our jobs! Good luck to you this new semester! Doesn't seem like that long ago that you were in school and then looking for a job. Glad this all worked out for you!
