would you if legal?
We all know its not socially acceptable but if it were legal would you live you whole life nude with the exception of cold weather? Would you go shopping? would you go out and do your daily routine nude? Everyone you hear always speaks of rights etc, how far would you push the right to be nude in public if legal?
I don't wear a lot of clothes out now. Normally just shorts and a shirt or just shorts. If nudity was legal and accepted, I might find myself wearing a sarong so that I could be covered if necessary, but also easy to remove for comfort.
If only we could have a world like that.
May I suggest that those in the UK who do not think that it is legal to be naked outside or who think that the police and CPS do not know that look on the British Naturism web site (bn.org.uk). You will find the following links :

I'm surprised that I haven't seen more mentioned on sites like TN about what you highlight in these links Paul. Its long been a gray area as to where and when we can be legally nude in public in the UK, it varies to some degree in the different countries that make up the UK too. But the clarification of this issue should help make it clearer where we can be naked, and hopefully the wider population will also realise that we are legally allowed to be naked in many situations. Talking to nudist friends not that many of them seem aware of the current situation.
A lot of the initial work was done by the Naturist Action Group, British Naturism got on board later but don't seem to want to acknoledge the earlier work and in their recent publicity about the clarification make no mention of other groups that worked on the matter, seemingly to claim all the credit. I'm not saying that BN don't deserve some credit, but making it look like they were the only body fighting our corner is not good when its not true.
As to the question about would I be nude in more places if it were legal, yes I would. We've long used public beaches for nudism, 'official' and 'unofficial' beaches. We've hiked nude for a number of years too. We've known what our rights were to be nude publicly but been cautious about forcing our nudity on others, not walking naked along roads or when passing peoples' homes. I've walked nude in the countryside since the legal clarification with an organised group, the respect when passing homes continues but we've not covered up at the sight of someone in the distance. Being nude in a town centre would probably still be an issue, I'm not going to walk around naked today, or tomorrow, the laws still indicate that this is not acceptable generally. But I will be nude in public more since its been possible to carry a piece of paper stating that the law recognises our right to be nude should I meet anyone, including police, who questions that right.

Sure, I'm certain I would. I push boundaries now and public nudity isn't legal in most cities, counties and states. If social nudity became legal, I'd no longer have to push those boundaries, I'd just do what I do now with impunity. I think my social, everyday nudity in society would increase rapidly as I found that people realized it was legal and didn't make a scene or act overly dramatic about seeing a naked person. I would hope that there would be lots more people like me that would also be naked and then it would catch on.
My wife would probably still wear some sort of cover but it would be minimal, sheer or mesh. I think she'd enjoy sitting out in our front yard patio in the nude and enjoying our time out there. We've done this occasionally but it's been very late at night and still warm out. She'd probably ride naked while I drive naked. Not sure she'd actually shop naked.
We'd both enjoy the fact that we could exit our vehicles for simple things like getting gas at a station, visiting a park, visiting a beach, visiting nude clubs and resorts, getting mail, going into the P.O. to use the vending machines for stamps or mail a package, answering the front door for USPS, UPS, FedEx or the neighbors. We'd just increase the social nudism in everyday life each day.
Going into the market and other stores would take time, I think. If we were at the market or the mall or any other store and I found others naked, I'd certainly follow suit but it may take my wife some time to do something like that. I would think that many people we know would try it or actually profess to have lived as we do but were more secretive then we thought. It would take a while for those that think only media model types should be naked in public and once regular sized or normal, realistic sized people began going naked, they might begin to participate.
I would certainly be naked everywhere but my wife would probably not be, if the laws changed tomorrow. If social nudism had been acceptable when we started out as nudists, who knows what she might be willing to do and I would be naked everywhere! :DDD
