How do I type paragraphs in PMs?

Hi, being reasonably educated I like to write things in paragraphs so that they are easier to read. But have come across a problem on this site.It seems that the programming does not allow for paragraphs to be used.

I recently sent someone a PM, in which the message was broken up into easy to read paragraphs when I typed it. I later went back to check that I had mentioned something in it; but when I clicked the view message button it showed as one long paragraph. Does any one know of a way to stop this happening please?

Also how do I go about suggesting an additional forum folder to TT1? I think it would be useful to have a seperate folder for queries about the functionality of the site.
