Sunsport Gardens - Loxahatchee, FL
We visited Sunsport Gardens a few weeks ago and camped for two nights. The pool is nice and has a slide that I (Kay) tried out several times. The hot tub is nice as well. We met several of the locals and they were extremely welcoming and kind. There is a small restaurant, but I cooked while we were there. Getting there was a bit interesting being that there are twenty-something speed humps on the road to the resort. We had hoped that it would be a shorter trip to/from Haulover, but due to traffic it took us a good two hours or more returning from the beach. There is a lot of potential at this resort and hope to see some investments in it and hopefully more nudist will enjoy it! Bring bug spray as the bugs were terrible!
We visited Sunsport last week after a few days at Cypress Cove. It definitely does have some potential, but it does need some work. They have some good facilities, and we realize we were there on a Monday of their really slow season, so we didn't expect a lot of people. We did meet a couple of the folks that live there and this week they are doing their youth camp, so I'm sure it is more active. Lunch was good, but as far off the beaten path as it is I'm not sure we will go back.
Glad we visited to check it out. It was worth the stop as we were heading to Pompano Beach from Cypress Cove.
