Newbies at Haulover

We are making our maiden trip to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area coming up in the beginning of June. Looking forward to many sunny days socking up the sun at Haulover. We are staying at Newport Beaside Resort and wondering how far of a walk it is via the beach to get to the naturist section. Also, any pointers for the beach. We've been to Hippie Hollow in Austin, TX but looking forward to an actual beach.

Stay at Newport Beachside every year and it is a 15 min walk to the nude beach. The hotel provides towels so easy to take along. Saturday and Sunday very busy at Haulover.
