Bargains in France.

I have found since moving to France that there are amazing bargains got be had in Lidl, who seem to buy up bin ends and stack them separately from their normal shelves. Some are also no doubt the few remaining bottles of a line and are discounted heavily to get rid of them. Anyway, people I know go with a corkscrew and some glasses, buy one bottle of a variety of wines that take their fancy and sample them in the car park. If they find something they really like they go straight back and buy a quantity. If you leave it until the next day it will have gone. Spit it out of course - the gendarmes will have noticed by now.
