Jeep Bikini top or convertable

Looking at the Jeep pictures on this groups makes me want a Jeep with a removable top for some nude off-roading. How cool would that be. I have a 4x4 truck now. Being in the sun would be way better than being stuck in a cab under a roof. In fact would anyone on here say that having a open top vehicle get you thinking about being nude?

I currently own a '01 XJ Cherokee Sport, hardtop. Next year, it will become our eldest grandson's car and I'll go looking for a new Jeep. I'm looking at a Rubicon with a 3 piece removable roof and removable doors. I'd love to be able to remove all I can on our trips out to Death Valley and strip down myself and my Jeep for that total freedom effect! :D

Don't need a ragtop to think about being nude. LOL I think about it all the time.

I strongly considered the JKU when shopping for a truck in 2016... but despite my desire to be offroad all the time, the sad truth is that 95% of my driving is down the highway, commuting to work, and the Wrangler was just a little sub par in that regard. In the end I went with a Toyota 4RUNNER. While it does have a sunroof, I still get a little jealous when I see a totally topless Jeep...

As for offroading nude with the top down... here, the trails in the forests are ABSOLUTELY bug infested most of the spring and summer. Any time the weather would be warm enough to offroad nude, you'd likely be eaten alive. I can't even crack open the sunroof on some of the summer trail rides here.

Thats what I am talking about AndyDi. No doors would just add to the feeling of being outside. As far as the bugs go, yes they can ruin any outdoor natural activity. I live in a desert region but sometimes have that problem when hiking up canyons. My shorts often end up being a fly swatter.

Do most of my 4x4ing out in the Death Valley area. Most times it's windy and that keeps the bugs away but occasionally it will become still and those little gnats will become annoying but won't ruin my day.

There's a trail we take when we are out there and it has a narrow portion where the snow melt runs down and irrigates plant life. It can get thick and actually form a tunnel of brush. Only issue I'd have is the branches scratching my legs as I drove by. It's not very long but enough to scratch up my paint and my legs if I took the doors off. Taking the lids off would be a kick but might have to wear a hard hat for those little rocks that occasionally fall. Those hitting your vehicle sure get your attention!!! :D
