It is indeed a shame that we can only use areas that aren't easily accessible. I'm in my thirties and the climb is a little rough on MY knees; that is after three hours in the car to get there in the first place. I'm otherwise healthy and able-bodied; I do manual labor for a living but I frequently can't visit a freakin' beach?!
I also have bad knees and a bad back. I carry the bulk of all the items we take down the trail and back up. I make it fine but Di's having more and more problems with that trek so it looks like we won't be visiting anymore. Look like more trips up to the Central Coast and Northern Cal with stops at more accessible nude beaches! Bates, More Mesa and Bonny Doon! :D
